Hi friends, I am back with another crafting post today. This post is perfect for my fit mamas (or mamas that are trying to get or stay fit).

The struggle is real!

I gave birth last month to a beautiful baby girl, and I’m still so over the moon in love with her hands, feet, and sweet sweet smile.

Read about and see baby Zoey here!

But this was my third baby, guys.

I’ve grown three total people within my body, and as much as I’d love to say I’m happy with my postpartum body and recovery, I think there’s plenty of room for improvement.

I’ve been struggling with finding the time to work out and drink water with three kids on three completely different schedules.

Heck, I’ve been struggling to even get enough sleep, but Zoey just turned 5 weeks old today so that’s no surprise ;).

Let me go ahead and say that I am in NO way shaming anyone’s postpartum body – I’m simply sharing my thoughts on my own and my journey back toward health and happiness.

I’m trying my best to gradually get back to where I was before, and I think the easiest way to do that is to start drinking more water.

Besides, it’s recommended that postpartum mothers drink plenty of water when breastfeeding. According to Healthline, “Aiming to drink at least 34–68 ounces (1–2 liters) of water per day is a good goal to assist with weight loss and keep hydrated, though some women who are breastfeeding or exercising a lot may need more”.

I find it incredibly difficult to drink water without tracking my intake, however, so I decided to create my own water tracker decals to place on some cute tumblers.

And I have to say, it’s been super motivating to see how much water I’m drinking now!

These decals I’m featuring in this post are great for skinny tumblers, fat tumblers, or other plastic or glass reusable water bottles.

Materials Needed To Make Water Bottle Tracker Decal

Here are the supplies you’ll need to create these glittery water tracker decals…

This Cricut tutorial will work with either the Explore Air 2 or the Maker. You’ll notice I own and am using the Explore Air 2 for this post.

Each of these cups (tumbler and decals combined) costs about $5 to make, so if you’re planning on making these to sell, there’s plenty of room to make a profit ;).

Cutting Decals With Cricut Explore Air 2

Access my public design HERE, and either Customize it or select Make It – this option will take you directly to the cutting screen.

If you want to customize the design before making it (maybe you want to change the text size, font, or what the font reads), you’ll need to Detach the design to edit it.

Once you’re ready and the design is as you’d like it, place your vinyl onto your mat, and cut the design.

Weed the negative by peeling away excess material from your design.

The ‘Drink More Water’ decal will go on one side, and the decal with the lines and times will go on the opposite side of your tumbler or cup.

Transfer your weeded decals to transfer tape (I’m using StrongGrip) and place them on your bottle or tumbler.

I love how glittery the shimmer vinyl is from Cricut, don’t you?

BTW, here is the tutorial for the mermaid monogram tumbler decal for all my fellow mermaid fans!

There are even details in the post that explain how to create a monogram in Design Space for beginners using Monogramos font.

Washing instructions for decals

Your water bottle or tumbler should be hand washed – never place it in the dishwasher!

Also, avoid excessive soaking in the sink as that may cause the adhesive on the decals to lift from your tumbler or cup.

I hope you enjoyed this post and feel inspired to start tracking your water intake with these cute glittery decals! If you make these, be sure to tag me on Instagram (@slayathomemother) so I can see your creation!
