I’m back today with a post dedicated to learning how to freeze fresh strawberries.

One of my favorite seedlings to grow in our Farmstand is strawberries.

First, you’ll need to gather your strawberries and clean them. You can simply wash them with water.

How To Freeze Strawberries

I’m using a strawberry huller in this post (it looks like a retractable CLAW so my boys really love it), but you can also use a simple paring knife or another tool.

I like to push out the claw of our strawberry huller, stab the strawberry while enclosing the green stem part, and let go to it grabs hold of the section I want to remove.

Once your strawberries are hulled, you may need to rinse them off again really quick in case you have any random greenery that is stuck to them from the hulling process.

Allow them to dry for about 15-20 minutes, then line them tip-up on a pan with parchment paper.

Ensure that the strawberries are not touching each other. Place in the freezer on a flat spot (I placed mine right on top of our row of frozen veggie bags!) and leave for at least 2 hours.
