We love camping! What started as a hobby during the global pandemic has snowballed into a fun family favorite way of spending time together.
We bought our first camper in March 2020, and after a natural disaster (freak hail storm in the middle of July last year), we upgraded to a new camper this year.
Over the last several years of camping, we’ve implemented a few products that upgrade our camping experience.
After a video of mine went viral on social media featuring these products, I decided it would be a good idea to go ahead and make an evergreen blog post on it, so here we are!
P.S. You can skip my list and shop my RV Camping Accessories for Inside Your Camper List here!
Camping Accessories for Inside Your Camper
Slim Laundry Basket
On of the best things about this laundry basket is that is is on wheels for easy rolling, but I appreciate that it is a vertical, slender shape so it takes up the right amount of space in our camper.
Key Holder with Shelf Tray
This key holder is great for keeping track of our keys, because there is very limited counter space!
Screen Protector for Camper Door
After our Frenchie mix dog ran THROUGH the camper screen door to go say hello to our camping neighbors…we found ourselves unable to leave the screen door open.
It happened so quickly and easily – so we decided to change things up and protect our screen door with this screen protector.
This is a good option for your camper screen door if your have young kids, babies, or pets that will push (or bulldoze right through) the screen!
Single Pod Coffee Maker
We are huge coffee drinkers, and we also like the convenience of k-cups, AND we also have three kids. Need I justify the need for coffee in the morning MORE?
This coffee maker is slim, works fast, and stores easily for camping trips, so I had to include it on this list!
Door Window Covers
There are a couple of reasons you might want some window covers in your camper:
- They block out excess sunlight
- They add privacy
For us, the privacy was probably the biggest reason we love these! They’re also super easy to adhere to the window, and can be used rolled halfway (or to any point you want).
Game Storage Bags
Two words: moisture and toddlers.
This was the end of the card game boxes in our camper, which meant loose cards all over!
Having bags to organize and store our card games was a huge benefit, and we extended that to help organize our other games as well.
Pop Up Trash Can
Easy to store flat, sturdy, zips closed – what more could you want for a camp trash can?
We keep this trash can right outside the camper door to store all of our trash bags before we make a trash run.
Door Pull Handle
Camper doors can be kind of tricky to close, especially for littles!
We added this door handle pull to our camper door so we can easily pull it closed and it’s been the easiest everyday addition to improve our camping experience with how often the door gets open and closed!
Wall Mounted Towel Holder
With a family of five, we soon found with camping that keeping clean towels off the floor was so essential!
My husband found this idea on Amazon, and when I saw it I thought it was perfect for the camper – it eliminated anything on the floor, saved space, and kept our towels clean.
*Note: this does get screwed into the wall, and comes with the necessary screws. We had a reinforced spot on the wall that we used to screw the towel holder into, you will need to check your camper walls for studs before buying something like this!
Swivel TV Mount
Okay, hear me out – the TV mounts included in most campers from what we’ve experienced are flat against the wall.
Which means anytime we’re trying to watch TV, we have to crick our necks to the side to watch the TV, which isn’t very comfortable!
To upgrade our camping experience, we got this $17 (at the time) swivel TV mount.
