Homemade gummies made with fermented turmeric that are great for battling inflammation

This year, I’m focusing on eating better and feeling better. Chris and I are paying more attention to what we’re putting into our bodies and are trying to avoid the greasy, sugary, fatty foods we are drawn to. Lately, we’ve been drawn to taking on an anti-inflammatory diet.

One of our favorite supplements to take for reducing inflammation is turmeric.

Turmeric is a golden powder most recognized for being the spice that gives curry its color! It’s been used for thousands of years for its medicinal properties and has even been thought to help fight back against some forms of cancers, diabetes, and chronic inflammation.

In the past, I liked to take my turmeric in hot water. I call it ‘turmeric tea‘, but I basically boil hot water, stir in 2 tsp. of turmeric, and squeeze in some raw organic honey. It’s especially nice on cold, winter mornings!

With our busy morning schedule, I don’t always have the time to boil water and make tea, so I was so happy to have found New Chapter’s Turmeric Force capsules. How To Make Honey Apple Cinnamon Gummies With Fermented Turmeric

To make these homemade gummies, you’ll need…

Ingredients:

Tools:

  • silicone trays
  • blender or mixer
  • measuring cups and spoons

Instructions:

  1. Pour dry ingredients (gelatin, Fermented Turmeric Booster Powder, cinnamon), prepped apple, water, and honey into blender. Blend until smooth.
  2. Quickly pour mixture into silicone trays, smooth mixture over with butter knife.
  3. Place trays in the refrigerator for one hour to set.
  4. Enjoy!

My husband Chris says these gummies remind him of pumpkin pie filling (must be because of the cinnamon)! Either way, this is such a fun way to get our daily turmeric in! Recipe: Homemade Honey Apple Cinnamon Gummies With Fermented Turmeric

Quickly whip up this easy recipe for your own yummy turmeric gummies!

Honey Apple Turmeric Gummies

Prep Time 10 minutes
Setting 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Fermented Turmeric Booster Powder
  • 1/2 tbsp organic cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp raw organic honey
  • 1/3 cup HOT water
  • 1/4 cup natural gelatin
  • 1 small apple, cored and peeled

Instructions

  1. Pour dry ingredients (gelatin, turmeric, cinnamon), prepped apple, water, and honey into blender. Blend until smooth.

  2. Quickly pour mixture into silicone trays, smooth mixture over with butter knife.

  3. Place trays in the refrigerator for one hour to set.

  4. Pop gummies out of tray - enjoy!

These gummies should be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Take two gummies with food per day!
